Elizabeth (Dale) Julich , beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home in West Caldwell. Daughter of Mardi and Frank Droit, Dale graduated from Oak Knoll High School in Summit. She was a gifted musician and studied piano at Juilliard. In 1954, she married the love of her life Richard. After stops in Florida and Trinidad, they settled in Livingston to raise their family. Dale enjoyed gardening, bowling, tennis and was an avid reader and New York Times crossword puzzle enthusiast. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Richard, and her six children, Ricky (Barbara) , David (Teri), Beth, Carol, Greg (Katy), Chris (Megan), her grandchildren, Lauren, Stephen, Jess (Ed), Danny (Sammy), Dana, David, Michelle, Nicholas (Gina), Kelli (Dave), Will, Patrick, Kevin, Sophie, Owen and great-grandchildren Ben, Madison, Maddox, Jackson, Lilly, Emmett, Natalie, Hallie, Brayden and Graham.
After her children entered school, Dale went back to finish her degree in early education and taught at Aquinas Academy until retirement when she split her time between Marco Island, FL and Spring Lake, NJ. During this time Dale enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends and her beloved Golden Retrievers, Matthew and Zach.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 7-9pm, with a prayer service to take place at 7:30pm, at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave. Livingston, NJ.
