Hello DeMarzo family,

I'm very sorry to hear the news of Dave's passing.  I just learned about it yesterday otherwise I would have come to the service.   Dave was like an older brother to me even though he was only two years older.  He helped forge my love for music, cars,  and motorcycles.  His Mom taught me how to ride a dirtbike!  I remember the day he got his drivers license and when he brought home his first car which was a Buick Skylark named "Black Sunshine."  I have many fond memories with Dave and I'll never forget them.   Ben and Luanne- Thank you for always being patient with us.  I know we must have been a handful.   

Life pulls us in many directions but i do hope our paths cross again.  I would like to catch up with you guys.

Dave has been my coworker for many years. He was a skilled and well-liked tow operator.  Quite a few times customers called or stopped by, specifically to compliment him and tell us how thankful they were after he had helped them. Over that time never once did any customer complain about him or the service he provided.   As a teammate I respected him and appreciated his help. As a friend I cherished the times we chatted and spent outside of work. I miss him both ways. Dave is one of a kind and cool to his core.

Dave worked with my husband and became one of his best friends. He was just here the week before, hanging out while we did yard work and making sure Dan was safe on the high ladder. I always enjoyed Dave’s company, his intelligence and dry humor. Dave was subtle and quiet but very deep and insightful.  He was very thoughtful too, I was very touched when he went out of his way to secure my car and crash-wrap it when it had to be towed after I was hit by someone running a red light. There are many examples of simple, considerate things he always did for his friends.  He always appreciated a good exotic cheese or ethnic dish too. Every week I send Dan to work with goodies and often made sure Dave his own take-home portion, especially his favorites like the Cuban flan he loved. I’ve already missed doing that a few times. Dave was also a proud Dad and my heart goes out to the boys he left behind. My deepest sympathy to Dave’s family for your loss. Dave, I hope you are at peace - you were loved and are very much missed.

Dave we will always love you, and you will forever be missed 💔.  Still doesn’t feel real!  Easter came and I reached for my phone to text ya “Happy Easter”. Rest easy Dave and Thanks for powering through playing Uno 🤣. You were a trooper!  Hopefully You have Mackenzie’s drawings up there with ya ❤️
