

Deborah “Debbie” Streleck passed away peacefully in her home in Delray Beach, FL on March 13, 2026, at the age of 74. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong work ethic, and her generosity toward others.
Debbie was Born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in Livingston, NJ, attending Mount St. Dominic Academy and later Caldwell College. After graduating from Caldwell College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Debbie moved to New York City and built a successful career in finance. She held various roles at Citibank, Fidelity Union Trust Company and Bankers Trust Company before rising to the role of Senior Vice President at Bank of America in New York. At a time when relatively few women were in the field, she distinguished herself through her competitiveness, determination, and willingness to take on responsibility.
While she found success professionally, Debbie chose to step away from her career to focus on raising her two sons, bringing the same energy and commitment to her family as she had to her work. She was deeply involved in her children’s school communities as well as her own alma maters, committing her time to volunteer and leadership roles. Debbie was also active in her local community and various charitable efforts.
She is survived by her sons, Greg and Mark; her daughter-in-law Victoria; her cherished grandchildren, Nora and Edie; and her sisters, Deirdre and Francine. She was predeceased by her parents Mimi and Gregory Streleck.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 South Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 am. A private internment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell College.
