Diane Facchiano

Born in Newark, NJ, Diane was the daughter of Saverio and Anna LaPolla. She married the love of her life Peter (Ginger) Facchiano on May 5, 1957. Diane moved to Orange, where she had her two children Perry and DawnAnn. Shortly after they settled in Livingston, where she raised her family.

Diane was a deeply loved; daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. She loved fashion, family and friends and spoiled her many fur babies throughout the years.

Her smile and laugh were infectious and her funny stories captured your attention no matter how many times you heard them. She befriended so many and treated her friends and caregivers like family. She truly appreciated everyone’s help, support and respect. She repaid with kindness, love and great food. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing. Everyone was always welcome at Diane’s home. She had an amazing way of making her friends become her family.

Diane will be deeply missed by so many, especially her children, Perry and DawnAnn, her grandpup Annie, her sister Marie Andriola, her brother Joseph LaPolla and her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Diane is predeceased by her parents Saverio and Anna LaPolla, her loving husband Ginger Facchiano, her sister Rita Andriola and her brother Larry LaPolla.

Visiting hours will be held at Quinn-Hopping funeral home in Livingston NJ on Friday August 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A mass and Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, Livingston NJ 10:00 a.m. on Saturday August 17, 2024.
