Doris Joan Iden

Doris L. Iden, 98, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in West Orange, NJ. She was born in West Orange and graduated from West Orange High School. Doris was an enthusiastic homemaker with an active interest in sports throughout her life, playing her favorite game of tennis until she was well past seventy years old. She enjoyed visiting friends and relatives and traveling near and far.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Robert, but is survived by her loving sister, Ruth Burns, her five children, Charles Iden, Lee Iden, Joan Rhines, Carol Siversky and Mark Iden, and her dear cousin Audrey Fultz. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kimberly Marino, Cheryl Shaw, Deborah Huberty, Lara Iden, Nathanael Iden, Julie Foard, Sherry Iden, Abigail Simon, Rebecca Iden, Christopher Rhines, Bradford Rhines, Alexandra Siversky, Kaelyn Siversky, Connor Siversky, Daniel Iden and Stephen Iden, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10 am until 12 noon at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ with burial to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ.
