Dorothy Jean Sundstrom

Dorothy Jean Sundstrom, 91, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020. She was the daughter of Alice and John Roche and lived most of her life in New Jersey. Dorothy worked at the Prudential in Newark, where she met her husband Charles. They resided in Livingston, where they raised their family and were active parishioners of St. Raphael Church. She was an avid reader, with a lifelong love of learning. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Dorothy most enjoyed time with her family. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Charles and sisters Marilyn and Joan. She is survived by her brother Donald of Colorado, her son David and his wife Lori, her daughter Anne, and her six grandchildren James, Carolyn, Katherine, Alexandra, Robert, and John. She will also be missed by her dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and close friends are invited for graveside prayers on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:45 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Most Blessed Sacrament Restoration Fund; checks can be made out to Most Blessed Sacrament Church and mailed to 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
