Dorothy Williges, 88, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. Born in Scranton, PA, Dorothy was a longtime resident of West Orange. She was an active communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish in West Orange for many years. Dorothy was a great chef, having attended the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in Belgium. She worked for many years as a secretary for Chubb and Son. She loved spending time with her devoted family.
Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Robert. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George. She also leaves behind her daughters Barby Dewan, Mary Ellen Loughery, Carol Inserra, Leslie Hatcher, as well as her 12 adoring grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, November 27 at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, West Orange. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Parkinson’s disease Foundation at http://support.pdf.org
