

Edith Dim, known to her family and friends as Edie, passed away after a long illness, on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the age of 90. Her family moved to East Orange when she was 3 years old where she lived until moving to Livingston in 1973, then to Scottsdale, AZ in 1988 until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Murray, her sister Gladys Orlovsky, and her brothers Joseph, Jack, Harold, Manny and Leo Orlovsky. She leaves behind her two sons, David Martin of Brooklyn, NY, and Edward Stephen of Scottsdale, AZ, and her brother David Orlovsy of Virginia, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Edie was employed by the City of East Orange for 27 years ending with her serving as Registrar of Vital Statistics. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey for 60 years and volunteered at the Scottsdale Public Library for 25 years.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11AM at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Islen, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston, NJ.
