

Frances Larsen, a resident of West Orange, formerly of Toms River and Emerson, passed away peacefully at home with family on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the age of 89. Born and raised in Bronx, N.Y, Frances met her lifetime love Edward while working at New York Life. She retired as a file supervisor at Burns and Roe Engineering in Oradell and was an avid antique collector and bowler.
Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Edward, and her dear sister Peggy Murphy, she is survived by her five children: Kathy McGoldrick and husband Thomas, Barbara Allison and husband William, Marian Larsen and partner Philip Neville, Edward Larsen and husband Richard Hopping and Kenneth Larsen and wife Dr. Heather Barrett; she is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Sunday, August 9, from 2 to 6 PM. The Mass of Resurrection will be on Monday at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange, at 12 PM. The interment will be on Thursday, August13 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ at 11 AM. Flowers are welcome or donations to Sage Eldercare, 290 Summit, NJ 07901 would be appreciated.
