

Frances Natale Luppino, a resident of Llewellyn Park in West Orange NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 19, 2015 at the age of 84. Born on December 6, 1930 and raised in Norwalk, CT, Frances graduated from Teachers College of Connecticut where she met and married the love of her life, Anthony. Fran and Tony celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on August 18, 2015.
Frances was known as a consummate hostess and expert bridge player. She was a collector who enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions, a talented cook and baker known for elegant entertaining and special holiday meals, and an avid gardener who was an active member of the Allenhurst, NJ Garden Club. She moved to South Orange, NJ in 1970 where she was one of the founding members of the South Orange-Maplewood Newcomers Club. Fran taught and initiated bridge groups as well as participated in competitive play. Growing up on the Connecticut shore, she loved the ocean and later lived near the beach in Allenhurst, NJ and Vero Beach, FL. Fran cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them, and they adored their “Grammy” as she always made them feel special.
Frances is survived by her beloved husband Anthony V. Luppino, her devoted children Derrick Luppino and his wife Susan of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Natalie Luppino Bauer, Andrea Luppino Cooke and her husband Curtis of Hellertown, PA, her loving grandchildren Ryan Luppino and his wife Stephanie, Lindsay Luppino Krasnica and her husband David, Domenick Bauer, Samuel Bauer, and great grandson Sean Thomas Luppino. She is also survived by her cousins, and many nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her parents James A. and Virginia (Costanza) Natale, her brothers Joseph and Frank, and her sister Mary Natale Pittaro.
Services will be private.
