A Visitation will take place on October 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, New Jersey 07039. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at The Church of Saint Philomena, 386 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. Internment will take place immediately after the funeral services at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover.
Mrs. Patterson was born on November 3, 1929 in Newark, New Jersey to parents Michael and Mary O’Hara. Mrs. Patterson is survived by her sons Donald (wife Shirley Bloomfield) of Arlington, Virginia and Michael (wife Margaret Patterson) of Kansas City, Missouri, her grandchildren Leah and Kelsey, and Sam, Zak and Rose, and her great grandchildren Eleanor and Josephine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald, her parents, and her brother Patrick O’Hara and her sister Mary Yeomans.
Mrs. Patterson was a long-term resident of Livingston, New Jersey. Prior to her marriage, she worked at what was then the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. After her sons graduated from Oratory Prep in Summit New Jersey, she worked there as a bookkeeper for a number of years.
