Henry Nieuzytek

A resident of Livingston for over 65 years, Henry was born September 29, 1935, in Newark, NJ, to Stephen and Estelle (Koznowicz) Nieuzytek. He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a degree in Engineering. He then went on to build a distinguished career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Henry was known for his sense of humor, love of family, and deep pride in his education and work. The Holidays were a favorite time of the year where he shared stories & laughter with his family while watching everyone exchange & open gifts. A kind and funny man, Henry brought joy to everyone around him. Henry loved his classic movies. He could often be found watching an Old Movie on Turner Classic Movie Channel while having a slice of Homemade Apple Pie.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Stephen Nieuzytek & wife Nancy; his sister, Caroline Bruno & her husband Eugene; his nephew Stephen Nieuzytek & his niece, Susan Gechtman.

Henry is survived by his beloved nephew, Gregory Bruno and his wife, Jessica, and their three children, Olivia, Gregory & Christian. He is also survived by his loving niece, Kathy Rice, and her son, Michael. And loving Nephew, Scott Nieuzytek.

A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston First Aid Squad.
