John is survived by his loving parents; his mother Valtraude, his father Edward and his brother Kevin.
John was born in Curitiba, Brazil on September 28th 1981. He was a graduate of West Orange High School in 1999, attended Montclair State University and worked as a Foreman for Ironworkers Union Local 404.
John was a problem solver and often took on difficult projects at home and at work. He enjoyed spending time with family, being active, loved watching Yankees and Giants games with his father and brother and working on projects with his fellow ironworkers. He was a spiritual man and attended St. Philomena’s church in Livingston, NJ. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation is open to the public from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM on Friday July 22nd at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston, NJ. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday July 23rd at St. Philomena’s Church in Livingston, NJ. Father Francisco will officiate.
