Joseph A. Del Buono, 99 years of age passed away peacefully on December 5, 2018. Born in Italy and immigrating to the United Stated, his family originally settled in Newark in 1926. Joseph graduated from Barringer High School and later enlisted in the Navy and served proudly in World War II. Joseph was also a longtime active member of UNICO, an avid golfer and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Joseph is survived by his sisters Geraldine and Raphael, his nieces Connie, Camelia, Joanne, Victoria and Lisa, nephews Nelson and John, grandnieces Joanna and Hope and grandnephews David, Jeff, Michael, Matthew, Derek and Jesse.
Affectionately known by everyone as “Uncle Tony” he will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home located at 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue in Livingston on Sat 12/15 from 2-4.
