Joseph grew up in Bloomfield before he moved to Pompton Lakes. Even after he moved he continued to serve the Bloomfield community by working as a 911 Dispatcher for the Bloomfield Police Department for over 10 years. Joe enjoyed being with his kids, watching sports, playing basketball and poker.
Joe is survived by his wife Lisa, his children Jordyn and Joseph III, his parents Joseph and Cecelia, and his siblings Christine Lamparello and Darline (Juan) Soto, as well as many other relatives to include many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 2-9pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. At the request of the family and to honor Joe’s passion for sports, guests are invited to wear jerseys, or any sports themed attire to the visitation.
