Born in Newark, New Jersey, Jude was a proud 1959 graduate of Barringer High School, where he remained actively involved with the alumni association throughout his life. He went on to earn a master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and enjoyed a long and successful career in banking.
Known for his generosity and commitment to his community, Jude served as a crossing guard and volunteered faithfully at his local church. He also had a lifelong passion for music. As the DJ for a Frank Sinatra radio show, he shared his love of the Great American Songbook with countless listeners. On Saturday nights, he could often be found singing and dancing at the Joann Rizzo Show. He always sang, “My Way,” and in life he certainly did it his way.
Above all, Jude was a devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by Judith, his wife of almost 50 years; and his brother, Stephen.
He is survived by his brother, Edward; loving daughters, Anne Marie and Julie and his cherished grandchildren; Nicholas, Emily, Julia, Katelyn, and Jake, who will forever treasure his love, wisdom, and the many memories they shared together.
Jude will be remembered for his kindness, his love of music and Italian food, his dedication to his family, country, community, and the immense joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 2:00PM, at Every Nation Church, 101 Gibraltar Dr # 1C, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jude's memory.
