Kathleen Constantino

CONSTANTINO, Kathleen Harrington, age 73, of Maplewood, N.J, suddenly left the earthly world on July 11, 2025. Born in Orange, N.J on April 7, 1952 she was a graduate of East Orange Catholic HS and St Elizabeth's University. She spent many years as a Registered Dietician with Aramark Food Service and later transitioned into a Customer Service Representative with Target.

Kathy always looked forward to "sister days" and family gatherings. She perfected the JELL-O mold - which was a permanent staple for holidays. Kathy was predeceased by, and now will be eternally reunited with, her parents Margaret and William Harrington, sister Mary Alice, brothers Joseph, John, Michael, William, and Paul.

Kathy was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was noted as the “sweet” sister and aunt with caring heart, soft manner, and a quiet wit that would have everyone crying tears of laughter when you least expected.

She is survived by her 35 year old son, Joseph Constantino, sisters Margaret “Pegeen” Lightner (Joel), Jane Francis Smith, Patricia “Patti”Razor, Mary Jennings (Peter) and brother Dennis J Harrington. She is also survived by sister-in-laws Leona Harrington, Susan “Sue”Harrington, numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves a legacy of love and traditions.

We know in her heavenly life she will honor her golden rule of "dessert first". Those who wish to celebrate her life are welcome!

The funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 23rd at 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (South Orange, NJ). Visitation will be held immediately after Mass (11:30am-1:30pm) at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home (Livingston, NJ). Interment will be private.
