

Kim Wood died suddenly at home on January 02, 2017 at the age of 57. She was born October 2, 1959 and raised in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. After graduating from Bristol University she moved to the United States to work for Mars, Inc. She was later employed by Automatic Data Processing (ADP) for 10 years, before following her passion to work in theater at Arts Power, a children’s theatre company. Most recently, she was the co-owner of the Just For You Center in East Hanover, NJ. Kim became a United States citizen in March of 2001.
Kim was wicked smart, an avid reader, animal-lover, theater-goer and world traveler. She also loved finishing the New York Times puzzle in ink and beating everyone at Scrabble. She enjoyed spending time with friends who will fondly remember her intellect, wit and infectious laughter.
Kim is survived by her beloved partner of 22 years, Elizabeth Siegrist of West Orange, New Jersey; her mother, Jean (Doyle) Wood of England; and sister, Deborah Wood, (Vincenzo), of Italy; and her niece Ella Perrotta; as well as other extended family members.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039.
There will be a party celebrating Kim’s life on Sunday, January 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Jim Johnston’s Steak House located at 58 Eisenhower Pkwy, Roseland, NJ 07068.
