Dear Mrs. Luciano, Gail and Steven,
"Double L" as your  husband and father was known in my house was a legend whose mere presence was always hilarious. The cigar! The stories!
The unique language he and my dad shared!
Double L was indibirdics  and had a great twackerack !
He and my dad always talked about the framas and the fortus!
The restaurant stories were made of legends...
"This food is unfit for human consumption!" your dad was alleged to have said to the waiter, my father recalled. Chaos ensued !!!
But the story was retold hundreds of times with great laughter!
Most most important my dad and Mr.Luciano had a great comedic friendship which we are all the better for.
May he smoke cigars in heaven and tell stories with "PD" forever behind the pearly gates,,,,,,,,,

Dear Adelaide, Steve, Ashley and family,
We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Leo.  
He was a special person who was very personable and easy to talk to.  We enjoyed our conversations with him.  Adelaide and Leo make a very lovely couple.  Please accept our deepest condolences.

Uncle Leo this is Anthony Ozzie Patanella. The grandson of the late Mariann Luciano. I never met my grandfather Oswald but meeting you and getting to know you was a true blessing and honor and you will be missed and remembered by me and many others. I will never forget once when you told me and it stuck with me ever since. You said “Hey kid let me tell you something, Show me a person that hates their job and I will show you a person that isn’t successful, NOW SHOW ME A PERSON THAT LOVES WHAT THEY DO AND I WILL SHOW YOU A SUCCESSFUL PERSON. Couldn’t have said it any better. I will always remember that and live by them words as I have been. Living the dream and why I love waking up every morning. Because I LOVE what I am doing. Dear Adelaide and Family,

We were so very sorry to learn of Leo’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies. 
He was a good friend and fellow parishioner at St. Raphael’s who had a lot of faith in God. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Leo always was willing to help on Parish workdays, cleaning windows,  even when his age got the best of him. He would sometimes call just to see how we were doing, that was leo.

Dear Aunt Ade , Gail, Steven and Family, Uncle Leo was such a big presence in my life and all who knew and loved him that this loss just wrenches one's heart. Uncle Leo was always full of such joy in every moment and the light in every room - especially in restaurants where he delighted in a great meal and the ultimate ball-buster with bad waiters and would make you laugh til it hurt. Uncle Leo loved go the racetrack to bet on the horses and was a big personality who himself ran a good race that lasted 92 years. Uncle Leo Luciano's legacy lives on in our hearts. Dear Aunt Ade , Gail. Steven and family,
I loved Uncle Leo so very much and will always remember the good times through the years  He was always there if you needed him and when Ben was drafted and was at Ft.  Dix we drove down in the Mustang with a box of pastries but he was training and got to spend 5 minutes with him. Uncle never complained. I kept in touch after the divorce all these years. He loved  Aunt Ade so very much they were truly in love all.72 years. He will be missed and never forgotten
. I never saw anyone who loved to eat more than Uncle Leo. Once the food came he didn't pick.up his head he just enjoyed every bite. What a great trip we had to Paris the walking in the rain from the Louvre to the Arch d'Triumphe thinking it was a short distance. It was a nightmare. But we laughed through it
We were all blessed to love him and know him. RIP Uncle Leo until we meet again
