Loreto Perna, 83, passed away at his residence in West Orange on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. His family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Sunday, June 7 from 2 to 6 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange on Monday, June 8, at 10 AM followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Born in Italy, Loreto has lived in West Orange since 1978. He was a Street Mechanic for Public Service Electric and Gas for 20 years retiring in 1998.
He was predeceased by four siblings and is survived by his beloved wife Iolanda, his devoted sons, Agostino (and wife Anna), Fabio (and wife Dorothy) and his loving grandchildren: Agostino, Cory, Giovanni, Iolanda, Giada, Alex and Gabriella; he is also survived by ten siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
