Louis C. LeFrancis

Lou was born on April 5, 1969 in Newark, NJ, son of the late Elizabeth Jane (Ayers) and Louis C LeFrancis Jr.

His family moved to Livingston when he was 8. Lou graduated from Livingston High School in 1987 and went on to earn an Associate’s degree from Brookdale Community College. He owned Whippany Mobil for many years as well as working at Saturn of Livingston and then Prestige Volvo in East Hanover. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and also spent many years playing softball for various teams in Livingston.

Louis is survived by his loving daughter, Alie Morgan LeFrancis; his sisters, Christine LeFrancis of Davenport, Florida; Linda and Joe Wrijil of Fiskdale, Massachusetts; his brother, Brian and Chrissie Le Francis of Greeneville, Tennessee; two nieces, and two nephews, a grandnephew and grandniece, as well as many cousins and their families. Also surviving are his Uncle Robert and Aunt Hope LeFrancis and Aunt Monica and Uncle James Wegeler. He is also survived by his many friends, who will miss him dearly. He loved life, and everyone around him.

He was predeceased by his spouse, Meredith Matthews LeFrancis in December, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice.
