Lucille was a remarkable, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Lucille was born on December 14, 1934 in Newark, NJ to the late Carlo and Jennie Potignano. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Anthony G Caruso, adoring daughters Lucille Ann Jorgenson, Mary Jo Lindsay, their loving husbands Keith Jorgenson and Glen Lindsay, siblings Carol Furnari, (and Carol’s husband Joseph) Johanna Potignano, Carlo Potignano, grandchildren Thomas Broadfoot IV, Heather Stuetzle, Matthew Broadfoot, Anthony Jorgenson and Julia Broadfoot.
She moved to Livingston with her husband and daughters in 1966. She loved children and was happy to be elected president of the PTA at Hillside Elementary School where she also served as playground monitor for several years. She held many jobs including working at the Livingston Tribune accounting department and her husband’s accounting office while caring for and raising her family. She loved all music. She had an uncanny memory for birthday dates. She always remembered anyone’s birthday once told. She belonged to a women’s club named F.R.O.G.S. who were more like sisters than friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Philomena R.C. Church, 386 So Livingston Ave, Livingston NJ.
