Manfred K. Reeb, Jr.

A graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School, Class of 1981, Fred carried with him an easygoing spirit and appreciation for the simple joys of life. For more than 40 years, Fred worked at Schaffer Repair Services, formerly Carnevale’s Gulf, where he built countless friendships and lasting relationships. Known for his reliability and generosity, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Fred was also a two-time kidney transplant recipient, with his most recent life-saving donation given by his sister, Renee — a gift that meant the world to him and his family.

Affectionately known as Freddy and lovingly called “Bubi” by his brother and sisters, Fred especially enjoyed long motorcycle rides with friends, stopping at his favorite diners, and spending quality time with the family he loved so deeply, including his nieces and nephews. To them, he was more than an uncle — he was a constant supporter, storyteller, and proud godfather who never missed a chance to remind them how much they meant to him, usually followed by a joke made lovingly at their expense. Some of his happiest memories were made on vacations with his two nieces, who were also his goddaughters, moments they will cherish forever.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marianne Reeb and Manfred K. Reeb Sr., and by his nephew, Bryan T. Bonner Sr.

He is survived by his sisters, Renee Olexa (Kevin) and Ingrid Holt (Bill); and his brother, Michael C. Reeb (Julie). He will also be deeply missed by his beloved nieces and nephews Eric, Bryan, Andrew, Nicholas, Alia and Cecilie.

Fred will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
