Margaret M. Fischer passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2012, at her residence in Toms River. Born in Irvington, she lived 37 years in Middlesex moving to Toms River in 2006. Margaret was a fiercely independent, hardworking person spending many years as an executive secretary in the Research and Development Department of Union Carbide Corporation. She enjoyed traveling and reading but her love of family was most important to her.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Carl A. and Minnie (Schrade) Fischer, brothers Elmer and Raymond, sisters-in-law Margaret and Beatrice Fischer; her loving survivors include four nieces, three nephews, five great nieces, nine great nephews and ten great great nephews and nieces.
