

Longtime Livingston Resident and beloved great-grandmother
Maria Antonelli, of Florham Park, formerly of Livingston, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2014 after a brief illness. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Friday, January 2, 2015, 4-8 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be offered on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, at 10 AM followed by the committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Maria was born in Brooklyn to her late parents, Anthony and Gertrude Gallo where she graduated Midwood High School. She lived in Livingston for fifty years before taking up residence at the Wynwood of Florham Park in 2011.
She worked at Burrelle’s Press Clipping Service before a career in the accounting department of Foster-Wheeler, Livingston, retiring in 1985. Maria had been an active member of St. Philomena Church and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Maria was predeceased by her devoted husband of fifty-eight years, Nunzie, and her brothers, Fiore and Carmine Gallo. She is survived by her loving children, Patrick (and wife Nancy) Antonelli of Livingston and Mary (and husband Keith) Kebel of Basking Ridge and her brother Joseph Gallo. Maria was grandmother to Lisa, Brian, Laura, Alison, Michelle and eight cherished great grandchildren.
