Maria Latona “Nonna”, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Bivona, Sicily, Maria resided in Belleville for the majority of her life. She worked as a seamstress for many years, but her family was her number one priority.
Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert. She is survived by her loving daughter, Madelaine Werner and her husband John. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren John, Christine, and Gabrielle, as well as many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9 from 3-7 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mount Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ. Funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, May 10 at 10AM at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Roseland, with interment to at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
