Marie Apostolico (nee Palumbo), 97, died Wednesday at her daughter's residence in Livingston, N.J. Her family will receive friends at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, on Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral from the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., will be on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Padua Chapel, 1360 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, N.J., will be offered on Saturday at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Born in Italy, Mrs. Apostolico lived in Nutley, N.J. and South Orange, N.J., moving to Livingston 27 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; brother, Dominic Palumbo; sisters, Carmela Cuozzo, Helen Cox , Lena Haug and Jeanette Cowles; her nephew, Lester Cowles, III, and is survived by her children, Angela Riccardelli, R.N. and her husband, Dr.Emmanuel, Rose Marie Reber, M.D. and fiance, Gene, and Vincent P. Apostolico and his wife, Ethel; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Lester Cowles, Jr. and many nieces, nephews, here and in Italy.
