

Lynne was born on January 19, 1942, to Anthony J. and Stephanie Pikor in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She grew up in Union, NJ, after graduating she went into the Funeral business as former co-owner of Gallagher-Hagelin Funeral Home for 46 years after the sale of the funeral home Lynne continued her entrepreneurship in real estate and property management. Lynne retired to be with her beloved grandchildren, travel, and be more involved with Essex Fells Country Club and West Essex Woman’s Club where she enjoyed playing canasta and mahjong weekly with her friends. Lynne was an avid tennis player in her younger years and was always very involved in her community where she was the PTA president in the West Caldwell School System. Lynne was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Stephanie Pikor; her grandson, Jack R.S. Hagelin; and her beloved dogs, Teddy and Kody.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Tara A. Hagelin and Roy A. Hagelin and wife Charlotte; her grandchildren, Heather Davino, Caroline Gannon, and husband Mark J., and Christina Hagelin; her great-grandchildren, Willa and Ryla Gannon; her brother, Ronald J. Pikor; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 3-hour Visitation on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass for Marilyn will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Saint Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, followed by a burial at 12:30 PM at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Prospect Street, Caldwell, NJ 07006.
