Mary Katherine Daniels

Mary K. Daniels of Beach Haven, N.J. passed away on Wednesday January 21, 2015. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of late John P. Daniels (2009). Funeral services will be held on Monday January 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lourdes R.C. Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange, N.J. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Glen Ridge, N.J. Mrs. Daniels grew up in West Orange, N.J. She graduated from West Orange High in 1943. After marrying John P. Daniels in 1947 they moved to Irvington, N.J. where they raised their family. She was a member of the Irvington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Daniels worked for many years for Fidelity Union Bank at their Irvington location in the Safe Deposit Department. In 1982 she retired and moved to Beach Haven, N. J where she enjoyed many summers along the Jersey Shore. She was an active member of the St. Francis Parish. Mrs. Daniels was the devoted mother to her children and their spouses Colleen and Ted Kolakowski, Patrick and Debi Daniels and Christopher and Laura Daniels and her devoted friend Charles Deeney. Mrs. Daniels was the proud grandmother of Jonathan Daniels, Kathleen Kolakowski, Dennis Kolakowski Timothy and his wife Janelle Daniels, Gregory Daniels and his fiancé Collins Davis. Mrs. Daniels was especially grateful for the time she got to spend with her great grandson Patrick William Daniels.
