Michael J. Pelaez

Michael J. Pelaez, 30, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Livingston, NJ. Born and raised in Livingston, Michael was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees, serving 4 years active duty across the United States, Guam, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. Michael enjoyed working in agriculture, spending time at the shore, and fishing on the family boat.

Michael was predeceased by his grandfathers who were both veterans, Jack Dalakian and Manuel Pelaez. He is survived by his loving parents, Ray and Gail Pelaez, his brothers Richard and Jonathan, sister-in-law Jennifer, and his grandmothers Lucy Dalakian and Ana Pelaez. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2:00-6:00PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ. Prayer service will be held during the visitation at 5:00PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8 at 1:30PM at the William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name may be made to St. Mary Armenian Church Endowment Fund, 200 W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ.
