Michael William Samuels

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by the late Morton and Anna Samuels, he lived for many years in Livingston, NJ.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 28 years, Irene. He is survived by his son, Mark, his fiancé, Ashly Reed and (future) grandson William, and his daughter, Jill Chetta and granddaughter Allie. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael also leaves behind Ellie Critcher, of Apex, North Carolina, with whom he had been in a loving relationship for almost ten years, and her children, Darren Critcher (Kristin), and Staci Thomas (Bryan), as well as seven grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ on Thursday, June 1st from 4pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home on Friday, June 2nd at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
