Muriel was born on March 7, 1920, in Toronto, Canada, to the late John and Gladys (Parm) Ford. She lived a remarkable 106 years, touching the lives of countless people with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
Muriel found great joy in dancing and cooking special birthday dinners for those she loved. She had a beautiful and accepting heart. She was always willing to help others and never expected anything in return. Above all, Muriel treasured her family, and her grandchildren held a particularly special place in her heart.
Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gladys Ford; her brothers Ozzy and Richard, her sister Margaret “Peggy”, her sons Joe(Toot toot), Johnny, and Frank.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Muriel “Mimi” Farese and husband Ed; her sons,Bobby Esposito and wife Bridget, Tommy Esposito his wife Marlane , and Richie Esposito. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m.
A Final Viewing will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ.
