Patricia Ann Ambio

Patricia was born on October 8, 1942 in Orange, NJ, to parents, Lester P. and Catherine (Reever) Young. She was a lifelong resident of Livingston, NJ, and worked for 10 years at Burrell’s Clipping’s and then for 20 years at Livingston High School as a secretary. Patricia was an active parishioner of St. Philomena’s Parish for over 82 years. She took her first communion, got married, and serviced on the choir there. She was also a member of the rosary club. Patricia enjoyed singing, bowling, painting and knitting, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Laughlin and Kathleen Murphy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60+ years, Raymond Ambio; two children, Veronica and Lester; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Rachel, Edward, Ashley, Lexi, Ryan and Nicholas; great-grandchild, Christopher Jr.; and sister, Theresa Foley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a four-hour Visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 S Livingston, NJ 07039 at 10:00am, with a Committal to follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery.
