

Pauline Evelyn Muhr peacefully passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2014, with her family by her side. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philomena Church 396 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Monday May 5, 2014 at 11 AM. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 2-6 PM.
Paula was born in 1938 in historic Rochester Kent, England where she attended Rochester Grammar School for Girls. She was fluent in French and German, loved all artistic activities and played tennis all her life. As a flight attendant for TWA she traveled to many European countries and while in the U.S in 1960 she met and married Jesse P. Collinson of West Orange, NJ (deceased 1984). Paula had a long career with Lincoln Galleries of Orange, N.J. where she was an antique appraiser and auctioneer.
She later married George Muhr (deceased 2004). They retired to Tequesta Florida and enjoyed many happy years together. Paula returned to New Jersey 18 months ago to be with her family.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Collinson and his wife, Donna of Byram, NJ; Paul Collinson of Delray Beach, FL; and Laura Sheridan and husband, Jim of Livingston, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda and Peter Sheridan, and Jesse, Matthew and Trevor Collinson.
She is also survived by her overseas family, sister Veronica Meier of Switzerland, and brothers Martin Phillips of England and Trevar Phillips of Germany.
