

Richard was the beloved son of Fred and Ruth Julich. He was the proprietor of Crown Fish Company in New York City for over 50 years. After serving in the United States Navy, Richard returned home and in 1954, Richard married the love of his life, Dale Cullen.
After stops in Florida and Trinidad, they settled in Livingston, NJ to raise their family. Richard enjoyed playing tennis, bowling and the NY sports teams. His love of horse racing led to owning several thoroughbreds with many ending up in the winner’s circle.
After Richard's retirement, he and Dale split their time between Spring Lake, NJ and Marco Island, FL. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
More than anything, Richard loved spending time with his beloved wife. Richard and Dale were married 69 years.
He was predeceased by Dale in 2022. Richard is survived by his six children, Ricky (Barbara), David (Terri), Beth, Carol, Greg (Katy), Chris (Megan), and his grandchildren - Lauren, Stephen, Nicholas (Gina), Kelli (Dave), Jessi, Danny (Sammy), Dana, David, Michelle, Will, Patrick, Kevin, Sophie and Owen. As well as 11 great-grandchildren and his sister Carol Schrader (Dr. Zal Schrader).
A Memorial Visitation will be held for Richard on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E Mt Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM.
