Ricky worked as a heavy equipment operator for over forty years. During that time, he owned Crescent Towing and RCM Trucking for a number of years. Ricky was a Livingston Firefighter and a member of the Elks Lodge in Livingston, NJ.
Richard is the son of the late Charles Thomas Mason Jr. and Helen Adele Mason. He is survived by his brother, Edward, of Glen Carbon, Illinois; sister, Jean Craig (Danny), of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and sister, Kathy Turner (Bryan), of Bainbridge Island, WA. Ricky is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, Kerri & Seth Mason, Rachel & Shelby Craig and Ian, Zachary, Kyle & Devon Turner.
Ricky will be laid to rest at a private family service at Restland Memorial in East Hanover, NJ on Friday, October 20, 2017. Friends are invited to a "Celebration of Life" memorial gathering which will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Jim Johnston's Steakhouse in Roseland, NJ.
