Richard Joseph Saranchak

Richard Joseph Saranchak, “Rick” age 62, of West Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 22, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Raphael’s Church 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 10 AM. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Friday December 27, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Rick was a physical therapist with Amedisys Inc., a home healthcare company, prior to that he worked at Hackensack University Hospital. Rick was an avid snowboarder, surfer and runner, he ran the Spring Lake 5K every year. He loved music and collecting guitars; he enjoyed kayaking, and fishing. Rick is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Wolski Saranchak, his loving sons Eric and Ryan Saranchak and Robert Madison, and his dear brother Michael Saran.
