Ruby Morchian

In 1976 Ruby and her husband Charles established American Royal Hardware in Watchung Plaza in Upper Montclair, now owned and operated by her son Roy. She was a long-time active member of St. Mary Armenian Church, serving in the Women’s Guild, YPA and many other organizations.

Ruby was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles, in 2018. She is survived by her loving children Laura and her husband Michael Schillizzi, Roy and his wife Kathleen, and Brenda and her husband John Kosko III. Ruby is also survived by her grandchildren Craig and his wife Danielle, Matthew, Johnny, Stephen, Julia, and Brendan. She was also the beloved great-grandmother (“Medzi”) of Cody and Brooke. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Kaboolian and many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her sister Fran Marron.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 4 PM-8 PM at St. Mary Armenian Church, 200 W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 AM at St. Mary Armenian Church, with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
