Ruth S. Korn, 96, of Livingston, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Born in Newark, and raised in Maplewood, Ruth was a longtime resident of West Orange, before moving to Livingston. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for McGraw Edison, and later founded Korn Plumbing and Heating in West Orange, with her late husband, Edward.
Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Korn, Jr., as well as her three siblings. She is survived by her loving children, Gary Korn and Cathy Paulsen and her husband, Roger. She is also survived by her grandsons, Domenic Verrico and his wife Donatella, and Christopher Verrico and his wife Pamela, as well as her great-granddaughters Elisa and Liliana.
Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 3-6:30pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Memorial service will conclude the calling hours at 6:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to American Heart Association.
