Sabatina "Tina" Montesano

Sabatina Montesano, “Tina” (nee: Marsico), 94, passed into eternal rest on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Newton Medical Center. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 5 until 9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Wednesday at 10 AM followed by the entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.

Born in the province of Avellino, Italy, Tina immigrated with her family to the United States in 1955 settling first in Orange and then West Orange. Tina worked for Bell Laboratories for 26 years retiring in 1987.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vittorio and is survived by her devoted sons, Rocco and his wife Joanne, and Carmen, loving grandchildren Rocco, Jr. and his wife Julie, Lynda Montesano Caputo and Victor and his wife Gina; she is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Gerard, Dante, Daniella, Victoria, Marissa, Isabella and Paul. Tina was a devoted wife and loving, caring Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
