Stephanie Kling (Yarotsky), 89, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, July 17, 2013, at the Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Toms River. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Sunday, 2-6 PM. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside.
Born in Newark and originally from Hillside, Stephanie and her late beloved husband, Walter, lived in Union and Wharton before retiring to Toms River.
She was a secretary for RCA in Harrison for 40 years and an executive secretary for BASF in Parsippany for 10 years. Stephanie and Walter operated Kling’s Diner/Restaurant in North Lavallette from 1960 to 1968.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter F. and her brother Walter Yarotsky of Hillside, she is survived by her sister, Anne Walker of Seaside Park and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
