Susan “Sue” A. Veith (nee Petracca), 89, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Orange, NJ, Sue lived in West Orange for the past 60 years. She was employed by Mennen Company, Newark, for 10 years as an executive secretary. She was a 25 year member of the Suburban Sound Chorus, an affiliate of Sweet Adeline’s International.
Sue was predeceased by her dear son, Jeffrey. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, William, and her son David and his wife Donna. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ashley Tromonda and her husband Peter, Richard, David, Christopher, Mark and Amanda, as well as her daughter-in-law Alice.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8 from 2-6 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 9 at 9AM with funeral mass to follow at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, West Orange. Burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
