Walter E. Fenner Jr.

Walter E. Fenner Jr., age 94, of East Hanover, NJ, a longtime owner of Fenner Real Estate and Insurance, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 4, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held at the historic St. Giles Chapel, located in Restland Memorial Park 77 DeForest Avenue E. Hanover, NJ, (973-887-2050) on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 1PM. Interment to follow at the cemetery. He was a well-known businessman who enjoyed serving the public continually for 75 years. His soft spoken voice and well-mannered way denoted a by- gone era of elegance and courtesy. Walter was a passionate member of the East Hanover Historical Society and was an active member of the Republican Party. He loved animals, nature, photography and music. He was a former pilot, who was a barnstormer in his youth. He is survived by his beloved companion of 25 years Harriet Coquin, his sisters Olga Brucker and Charlotte Rowe, his nieces Linda Hensley and Dawn van den Heuvel, and his nephew Wayne Rowe.
