William P. Holey, retired Newark, NJ, Firefighter, of Livingston, NJ, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 13, 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philomena Church 396 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. William was a retired Newark firefighter serving the city of Newark for 25 years before his retirement in 1985. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his county proudly during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley Holey, William is survived by his devoted children Patricia (Joseph) Calafiore, William (Karen) Holey, Kenneth Holey, James (Sarah) Holey and Kathleen (Jerel) DeBellonia, his loving grandchildren Patrick, Joseph, Jessica, Bryan, Michael, Sean, Ethan, Justin, Ryan, Quinn and Danny and his dear sister Dolores Lyons.
