William Joseph Nave

William J. Nave, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in Livingston, NJ. Born in Manhattan, NY, William grew up in the Bronx and later graduated from NYU and attended NYU grad-school. He spent most of his career with Xerox in sales. He participated in the Livingston Men’s Softball League, coached his daughters in softball, and was on the Township Handicap Committee.

William was predeceased by his brother John M. Nave. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia, his daughters Karen Scott (Christopher) and Susan Nave. He also leaves behind his adoring grandson’s Brian and Craig Scott, as well as his sister Rita Nave.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 24 at 10:30AM with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Livingston First Aid Squad.
