

Ada G. Rowe of Longmont, CO died at Longmont United Hospital on September 1, 2007. She was 92.Ada was born December 10, 1914 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to Clyde and Minnie (Mosholder) Whipperman. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado and graduated from Mount Saint Gertrude?s Academy High School in Boulder. Ada married Eddie T. Row July 8, 1953 in Raton, New Mexico.Ada worked with her husband in their own heating, plumbing, and propane business in Estes Park from 1970 to 1983. The couple then moved to Deming, New Mexico where they lived on a farm until 1990. Ada moved to Berthoud, Colorado after her husband died and then to Longmont in 2000. Mrs. Rowe was a member of the Estes Park Order of Eastern Star and a member of the national and Longmont VFW Ladies Auxiliary.Ada was also a homemaker taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing and doing craft projects, playing cards, reading western books and watching western movies and shows. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed life, was always active and a joy for living. Her fun nature will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Her husband, her parents, and a brother, Kenneth Whipperman, preceded Ada in death. She is survived by three sons: Eddie Ray Barron and his wife Sherry of Farmington, West Virginia, Lloyd D. Rowe and his wife Gale of Bellvue, Colorado, and Kenneth G. Rowe and his wife Mary of Loveland, Colorado; by a daughter, Kathryn Carmody and her husband James of Longmont, Colorado; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.Ada did not wish any services to be held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Howe Mortuary of Longmont.
