

Adolph ""Ady"" Medina of Longmont, died June 15, 2007 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was 53.Ady was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from Pueblo Centennial High School. He attended The University of Colorado where he majored in Biology. He went to work for the City of Boulder, in their parks department for 17 years, retiring in 2005 due to health issues.On July 17, 1997, he married Kate Green. They shared a beautiful home in Longmont where they raised their son, Ryan Medina. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. The past number of years he developed a deep love for remote control boats, planes and automobiles. He especially enjoyed visiting the family cabin in Esterbrook, Wyoming.Surviving are his wife, Kate and son, Ryan Medina; two grown sons, Adan and Diego Medina of Albuquerque, N.M.; his mother, Savina Medina of Longmont, and father Lucio Medina of Pueblo; two brothers, Mario Medina and his wife, Kate, of Longmont, and Carlos Medina and his wife, Bev, of Firestone, three sisters, Josephine Lavatt of San Francisco, CA, Dina Medina of Longmont, and Nadine Medina-Archuleta of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and many nieces and nephews whom he adored.Most of all, Ady taught us how to live with courage and die with dignity. Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services has provided for a cremation.
