Alan W. Cunningham

Alan W. Cunningham, age 52, owner of a local computer company in Longmont, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2008. He was born May 8, 1955, on the Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, to Donald and Mary Hall Cunningham. On August 3, 1991, he was united in marriage to Janice M. Zblewski in Longmont, CO.Mr. Cunningham graduated from Regis University with a degree in Business Administration and from Denver University with a Masters of Science in Computer Systems Management.While living in the Philippines, Alan developed a passion for the sea. He went on to own and operate a Scuba Diving Shop for several years in Aurora, CO. He was a Security Administrator at IBM from 1983-1994. Alan and Jan then partnered and created their computer company.Alan was a member of the American Society of Industrial Security and was a Certified Fraud Examiner along with his father. Alan was also a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).He was an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer. Alan was also an expert skier; was well read and traveled frequently. His favorite travel destinations were the Rosholt (WI) Labor Day Fair and Disney World. He was most proud of his lifetime membership of the All Ears Disney World Club.Alan is survived by his best friend and devoted wife, Jan; his parents, Donald and Mary Cunningham; his sister, Debra (Tom) of Parker, CO; his brother, David of Aurora, CO; his mother-in-law, Irene Zblewski of Rosholt, WI; brothers/sisters-in-law, Michael (Lynda) Zblewski of Atlanta, GA; Barb (Gary) Perron, Jeffrey Zblewski, Tony (Janet) Zblewski of Plover, WI; Donald (Barb) Zblewski, Linda (Carl) Garski; Jerry (Judy) Zblewski of Rosholt, WI; Betsy Zblewski and Martin (Ann) Zblewski of Stevens Point, WI; Ken (Karyn) Zblewski of Tracy, CA. Alan will be remembered with love by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be deeply missed by many friends and business associates.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and uncles and father-in-law, Stanley Zblewski of Rosholt, WI.A private service has been held.
