Alice E. Smith

Alice Elaine Starkey Smith, 91, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully at her home December 30, 2014. Alice was an amazing woman who devoted her life to the Lord, and to her family. She was born June 16, 1923 in Mansfield, PA to Colie Monr and Julia Elizabeth Littley Starkey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Genevieve, her brother Merle, and her husband Alden F. Smith. She is survived by sons David (Millie) Smith, Dale (Jana) Smith, Merle (Peggy) Smith; Daughters Loretta Smith, Dee Norris, Jacklyn Shubert, Lynette (Carl) Van Ness, Colleen (Kevin) Allen, and Amy (Larry) Mills; One Brother, Paul (Gladys) Starkey, of Columbus Crossroads, PA; 34 Grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Summit Foursquare Church, 703 17th Avenue in Longmont. Burial will be in Mansfield, PA at a later date.
