Allen Leroy Peterson Jr.

Allen was born March 24, 1969, Kansas City, MO to Allen and Karen Peterson of Longmont, CO.

Allen attended Nederland JR/SR High School from 1981-1987, graduating in 1987. He attended Boulder Voc-Tech for Auto Body & Paint in 1987.

Allen and Tammy were married March 23, 2001.

They have been together 32 wonderful, loving years raising 5 children while enjoying the outdoors, camping and 4 Wheeling with family and friends. He was always working on 4 wheel drives, fabricating and building them.

Allen was a long time member of Big Thompson 4 Wheelers, Trailridge Runners 4x4 and Larimer County 4 Wheel Drive Club aka; The Mountaineers.

Allen worked as a Tow Truck Operator for 22 years, Auto Body Tech and Auto Mechanic.

Allen was predeceased by his nephew Brent A. Giggey of Arvada, CO.

Allen is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tammy Peterson, of Windsor, CO, Parents Allen & Karen Peterson of Longmont, CO, sister Belinda Peterson of Arvada, CO, Children Bradley Peterson, Shane Peterson, Oakley Peterson, Bridget Peterson and Shelby Peterson of Windsor, CO, Grandchildren Abigail & Hunter of Windsor, CO, Nephew George Giggey III of Arvada, CO, In-Laws Ken & Bonnie Dunston of Platteville, CO, sister-n- law Bobbie (Joe) Rudd of Platteville, CO, brother-n-law Ken (Carla) Dunston, Jr, of Kersey, CO and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts & uncles.

Visitation will be May 4, 2026 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St, Longmont, CO 80501 from 10-11am, with graveside service from 11-12pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 620 11th Ave., Longmont, CO 80501.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be at the Moose Lodge #1548, 2200 Pratt St., Longmont, CO, 80501, following graveside service.
